"I had a brand new GE Cafe refrigerator which had been infiltrated by pack rats while in storage prior to moving into my new home. I called GE headquarters and they told me my warranty was null and void because of rodent infestation. I explained that i was more than willing to pay for any repairs and understood I no longer had warranty. They told me they wouldn’t come to look at it but would give me a discount on a new refrigerator. Not likely. I tried every repair place in town that I could find and no one wanted to attempt to fix it. I’m a widow and the movers put it in my living room when I moved in and it’s been sitting there for 5 months. I was at my wits end. I went to Affordable Appliance Repair’s store to look for a used fridge, and to see if they would take this one. They were closed but I noticed on the door they repaired all makes of appliances. So I called and Dwayne told me they would send someone out within 3 days. Mr. Valencia came and within an hour had the compressor running and had completely rewired the back of the fridge. It is a very tech fridge and he set up all the temps and showed me how it worked. He even put the handles on it for me.. He advised me to leave it closed for 24 hrs and then I could move it into the kitchen and transfer food from my other refrigerator. He was so kind and helpful. The last words he said before leaving were “if you have any more trouble getting it hooked up, just call me and I’ll come back tomorrow.” This was a $3,800 fridge that I thought I was going to have to take to the dump or sell for scrap metal. I would recommend Affordable Appliance Repair for any appliance problem. They were fantastic."
